Romanticism Poetry
The origins of Romanticism can be found in poetry, whose sole purpose was to flatter and fascinate to captivate its audience. From the Odyssey and Iliad to the stories of King Arthur, poetry has a long history of telling outlandish stories with the protagonist being the stereotype of the hero in their era. The idea of Romanticism has been in existence for many centuries, but has only become integrated into all of society within the last 150 years. The most popular form of poetry in today’s society is music and has become an art of its own right. It's also emotion over reason, the laws of physics can't comprehend the world around us. The storms and the torrents around the worlds are unable to be described by the laws of the world. Art is what captures is but sometimes it doesn't do it justice. Not as seeing it with your real eyes but if romanticism is involved you might not want to. There's also the psychiatry (rather than experimental psychology). Which is a science, a part of the physical laws of science. They quote: 'poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings' . Wordsworth once said, 'poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings'. For romanticism that is anything but false. the feeling that you get from the romanticism poetry is, in a way, "overpowering." As you read the words of the piece come up within you and take your imaginations and emotions. It takes you into the story and when you have left it was as if you went there yourself. You feel the emotions of the character, the sadness, horror, and confusion even the happiness (if any.) That the character felt when the litterature piece came to it's end.
