Political Revolutionary Literature
In the Revolutionary/age of reason Era consisted of the Revolutionary war mainly, because of the war, there was really no time to write complete books of literature. Instead they wrote political writings, such as newspapers, and constitutions to make a change of the problems going on (N.A ,. One famous piece of writing was the Common sense by Thomas Paine, this was a major writing during the revolutionary era ( The Independence Hall Association, 2013), although it caused complications with the authority and congress, it was a a legendary piece of writing declaring independence from Great Britain. Thomas Jefferson was also a major literature writer during the revolutionary war, he had written drafts for the constitution, and helped write the final draft. Jefferson was a very important writer during the age of reason. During this Era it didn't consist of many personally writing, more so of official document to fabricate change.
Thomas Jefferson was one of the first to create a document that was an official parliament breaking document. He pushed that since the colonies landed the have been free from parliament. Many other documents like this came through the government. One of them being the Declaration of Independence which is now considered to be the most important documents of our nation. Even though this time period did no have novels it was still a very important time for reason to thrive. It created a lot of change, Thomas Jefferson is someone who is looked up to back then, and even till this day. He worked his hardest to create a structure that everyone can follow and obtain the rights they are given as a human being.
