The postmodern era is one of the lesser heard of eras. The era is from World War II, continuing to present day.
The Era took place in the time of the Civil Rights Movement, The Vietnam War, and The Cold War. The largest part was during the Civil Rights Movement. The different perspectives of people during the Postmodern Era made it different from that of the Modern Era. Along with the civil rights movement, Culture movements were a large part in this era as well. The people of the era felt rebellious to the cultural standards, and a improved sense of individuality and personal expression.
